A scenic 20-minute flight in the seaplane will give you breathtaking views as you have a chance to witness and photograph bears feeding in the intertidal marine habitat. Additionally, there are great chances to see many of Alaska's other wildlife creatures including whale, sea otter, sea lion, seal, harlequin duck, and bald eagles.
Once the seaplane lands on the water you'll be able to disembark from the seaplane and step onto the aircraft floats. Your pilot will share their knowledge of the salmon-filled habitat and point out viewing targets for you. From the aircraft you will have a chance to watch the bears feed on salmon here if their appetites hit. Flying in the sea plane was a great experience! The scenery was wonderful. Our pilot was an extremely nice young man, very engaging and providing lots of information. It would have been nice if we could have seen more bears.

Staff and pilot were very chatty and friendly. Plane was comfortable and the spot we landed in to bear watch was beautiful. Sadly, we didn't see too many bears and those we did see were a little far away - but that's somewhat out of their control.
We did see bears though and had a great time overall.

Pilot was great and courteous and flew us to two different spots but saw no bears. They just weren t coming out to eat. It was disappointing not seeing bears but first time up in Seaplane was enjoyable. Can t control nature. Would do it again but maybe not early in morning but later in afternoon
