About Icy Strait Fishing Tours

How much salmon can you bring back from Alaska?

Non-residents of Alaska, may retain one King salmon. A tab is required for King Salmon fishing. All other varities of salmon, including chum, coho, pink and sockeye, all of for 6 of each species per day. 

 

How much halibut can you bring back from Alaska?

As of March 2025, most of Alaska allows 2 halibut per angler. The exception is in Southeast Alaska, where charter vessel anglers may catch and retain one halibut per day. Addationally Tuesdays are catch and release only for halibut charter vessel anglers from May 13, 2025 to Sept. 9, 2025.
