Although this tour can accommodate a collapsible wheelchair, our Skagway Sled Dog tour, it poses more challenges for wheelchair users. The trails throughout camp are uneven natural terrain. The tour consists of a Unimog ride up the mountain to partake in the dog sled portion, which does not accommodate wheelchairs. The guest must be able to ascend the 5 steps in and out of the Unimog and walk short distances in the sled dog area.

For guests with wheelchairs looking to go to the Skagway Musher’s Camp in Skagway, we recommend doing the Skagway Musher's Camp and S'Mores Roasting or Skagway Musher's Camp and Gold Panning, as those both take place at our base camp but do not require the Unimog ride up the mountain.

We absolutely loved the Mushers Camp tour. The team was so kind and we loved all of the information that they shared about the dogs training. This was our kids favorite excursion, and they are teenage boys, so hard to please!

💯 percent happy we did this! It was so much fun. Our guides as amazing! The dogs were friendly and impressive! What to say about the puppies💕. One stole my daughter s hat off her head, it was so cute and fun! She even left some tooth marks as a souvenir. We couldn t be happier!

Our guide, Colin, and our sled dog guide Talia, were both great! We were met at our dock, as per their instructions, and everything was timed out. The sled ride, the visit with the retired dogs and puppies, and the time to shop in the souvenir shop were just the right amount of time to enjoy it all! Loved seeing and learning about this place and the dogs!
