Oct 2019 - Josephine C.
Driver/guide good, accommodating many stops in beautiful places, lunch adequate, wildlife gallery good, taxidermy animals excellent, needed more time at Caribou crossing.
Sep 2019 - Julie H.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Casey as our guide. She was knowledgeable and so fun! There were twenty of us, which was a nice number. Casey made frequent stops to let us take photos and was great at taking pictures of us with our cameras/phones for our memories of Alaska and the Yukon. We enjoyed our meal and time spent exploring at Caribou Crossing, too.
Sep 2019 - Teresa K.
Great tour with an amazing tour guide. We saw some amazing views on route and had ample opportunity to stop and take photos or mostly in our case our guide took loads of photos. She was great.
Sep 2019 - Julia A Battle B.
I would give this 10 stars if I could. Our 6.5 hour tour with Beverly Bev was amazing! We traveled the White Pass Rail route into the Yukon with stops all along the way for photos. Bev was very witty and knowledgeable about the area, and and had such a soothing voice to listen to for the day. We stopped at Carcross for a tasty lunch and got to spend time browsing the area where we got to shop, see the sled dogs and puppies, a petting zoo, and my favorite, the Wildlife Museum. This was my favorite stop on our cruise, and probably one of my most enjoyable excursions ever!
Sep 2019 - Derek H.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our driver / guide Patrick was great. We especially enjoyed being part of a smaller group which meant that we were able to stop more frequently and it didn't take half an hour for everyone to get off and back on the coach. We saw some great places in British Columbia and Yukon with our favourite being the Emerald Lake which we thought better than Lake Louise.
Sep 2019 - Kyle C.
We loved our visit to the Yukon. Our tour guide, Brooke, was absolutely wonderful! She took us to some amazing viewpoints giving us the opportunity to take some great photos. The views were absolutely spectacular. We even saw a bear from a safe distance. She shared fun facts and information about the local areas while using her quick-witted humor to keep it very engaging. We would unreservedly recommend this tour to anyone and given the opportunity, would love to do it again.
Sep 2019 - Camille R.
God instructions. Easy to find guide. Pretty views. Funny and knowledgeable guide
Sep 2019 - Terry W.
Awesome. The scenery and the tour guide could not have been better. Highly recommend this tour.
Sep 2019 - Sergio B.
We had a great time, Mike is the best, funny and very knowledgable about the area. we had the very lucky opportunity to see a bear this late in the year (sept) the views are beautiful.
Sep 2019 - Mike L.
Candace was a great guide and she had some great insights and knowledge of the area. She showed us some amazing sights. We wished the stops at Caribou Crossing and Carcross were a little longer and gave us more time to explore, but we were on a time table for our ship departure times. All in all it was an enjoyable excursion.
Sep 2019 - Dennis J.
We absolutely loved this excursion! The tour guide was wonderful and the bus ride was comfortable and enjoying. Well done! Would highly recommend this excursion!
Aug 2019 - Cynthia C.
This was a very good excursion. Only reason I an giving 4 stars is because I thought we might see more wildlife than we did, but is not the guide's fault. Can't control wildlife. The guide (I think her name was Casey) was fun and informative and happy to take pictures, she did a great job. Scenery was beautiful. Comfortable ride. Lunch was good and enjoyed visiting Caribou Crossing. Getting to hold the pomsky and see the sled dogs in action were the highlights there.
Aug 2019 - Janalea R.
Excellent tour guide. We enjoyed the entire day of exploring Skagway and the Canadian Yukon.
Aug 2019 - Gregory R.
This was a great adventure to travel deep into to the Yukon Territory. We were glad we took a bus instead of the train because we had the freedom to stop wherever we wanted to view the scenery and take photos. Our driver, Patrick, was very knowledgable and accommodating. The scenery was different from any other landscape I had seen before. Unfortunately we didn t see any wildlife that day, I guess they were hiding. Lunch was good and tasty and the doughnuts were better than they looked.
Aug 2019 - Merle H.
Great tour, Mike was awesome. He gets 5 stars from us. He would have got six if he would have parted with the sign on his bus that said not feed the bears. I could not talk him in to giving it to me. May not remember me but i had the short white bear
Aug 2019 - Steve E.
Very fun and informative!
Aug 2019 - Cecilia A T.
Really enjoyed checking out the natural sights of the Yukon and Alaska country side. Enjoyed our tour bus driver John. Very knowledgeable about the area we looked at.
Aug 2019 - Kelly F.
The tour was very informative. We were a little apprehensive with the time being over six hours but our driver and guide made that time seem to go by effortlessly! Beautiful scenery and a great weather day made for a very enjoyable experience. The lunch and attractions at caribou crossing were the best. Thank you so much for making the the tour great!
Aug 2019 - Marianne L.
Fantastic trip. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide/ driver Brooke was awesome. When visiting Skagway we would definitely recommend this tour.
Aug 2019 - Ka Ki L.
Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the history of Alaska, the Yukon and the wildlife living in the region. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable excursion and money well spent.
Aug 2019 - Hubert H.
Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful scenic panorama's. Bev was an awesome guide, knowledgeable, well-spoken, safe-driver and made a couple of extra stops to see unique points of interest.
Aug 2019 - Kimberly T.
This was our best excursion of the cruise and worth every penny. Mike, our guide, was so friendly, enthusiastic and eager to share all the interesting sites on the Klondike Hwy. We saw beautiful waterfalls, several gorgeous lakes and surprisingly, a desert on this diverse and interesting journey. The lunch stop at the Trading Post seemed a little hokey, but they served delicious BBQ chicken and it was unique getting to eat inside a covered wagon. The Royal Mounties museum and 30+ mounted displays of Alaska wildlife, was very interesting and well done. This truly was a fantastic and extremely enjoyable excursion and a great deal!
Aug 2019 - Mandi W.
Great trip up into Canada, with great views and wildlife!
Jul 2019 - Jessica D.
Great trip! We saw lots of wildlife, and learned a lot about the area. Our guide, Casey, was excellent, she kept us involved and paying attention, knew most of the answers to our many questions.
Jul 2019 - Robert G.
Great excursion and KC was a great guide. Lots of great photo opportunities and a couple bear sightings. Felt like a custom tour just for us.
Jul 2019 - Sharon P.
Casey was absolutely the best tour guide ever! The close-up video of the black bear grazing alongside the road was amazing, the tour views breathtaking, and her knowledge of the area limitless. Don't miss this one!
Jul 2019 - Pam Y.
We had a great time! Highly recommend this excursion!
Jul 2019 - Traci P.
We had a great time, our bus driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Jun 2019 - Larry W.
Beautiful scenery on bus tour, and we even saw TWO bears! Petting zoo was good, and museum was amazing with taxidermy animals. We were disappointed in food though... portions were small, and sodas cost .50 each (no ice tea available). It cost more if you wanted seconds of food (barbecue chicken).
Jun 2019 - Margaret E.
Excellent tour with a great tour guide. Brook was very informative and was so accommodating especially when a bear appeared and she went back to allow us to photograph the bear.
Jun 2019 - Sharon R.
Brooke did a great job with our Yukon Discovery Adventure. This was my favorite excursion of our Alaska trip. When we saw the bear she turned around so we could see it again.
Jun 2019 - Alan C.

It was a great tour with lots to see in the Yukon. I liked that the tour guides communicated closely together when they saw bears so that we would have an opportunity to see bears too.
May 2019 - Martin M.

Sep 2018 - Yealih H.
Great trip!
Sep 2018 - Tracie T.
Had fun on this tour, Aaron was out tour guide he did a great job and was very entertaining. We drove into Canada.
We stopped at three lakes, he showed us where the gold rush folks would have hiked up the mountain. We also stopped at Caribou Crossing for lunch and they have a museum, petting zoo, and dogs pulling a "sled" on wheels. I thought this was a great tour, on the way back Aaron had us listen to his audio taped book he's published which was quite boring and we were all very tired by that point. But that is the only negative.
Sep 2018 - Lili D.
Great tour and wonderful guide
Sep 2018 - Gary B.
Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable.
Sep 2018 - Colleen M.
This was a great full day trip. I took so many pictures. I loved all the stops. I love Canada. Didn't get to see much wildlife, but the scenery was amazing. Mike, our tour guide, was super fun and informative. The bbq chicken at Caribou Crossing was excellent. And there were sled dog puppies! This was my favorite excursion of the whole cruise.
Sep 2018 - David H.

Aug 2018 - Gail P.
This was a great day of exploring the area and seeing the sights. Our tour guide "Candice" was amazing - full of knowledge and very humorous. She made sure we were all comfortable and enjoyed the day.
Aug 2018 - Yudong H.
One of the highlights of our cruise trip! Many scenic stops along the 6-hr bus tour. Much better than the 2-hr non-stop train tour which costs 25% more. Our tour guide/driver was courteous, knowledgeable and funny. Small bus with <30 persons allows us to move nimbly without long wait for photo taking. Lunch stop was fun, too, with puppy/alpaca/horse petting, and a great museum. Barbecue chicken was pretty good. Try the donuts - they are not the super sweet type you found in stores. BTW, we saw a black bear before entering Canada. Highly recommended!
Aug 2018 - Victor K.
It was a great excursion. We saw a bear early on by the road, and had beautiful views of BC and the Yukon throughout the day. We even stopped at a lake for everyone to dip their toes in. The guide was wonderful and informative.
Aug 2018 - Roberto P.
This was just an awesome excursion beautiful breath taking views were just incredible. The guide was so informative and friendly. He really did a wonderful job. Highly recommend this excursion.
Aug 2018 - Mary D.
Excellent excursion! Only complaint was the chicken and potato in Yukon was terrible. Mike was amazing!!!
Aug 2018 - Peggy Z.
Beautiful drive. Also saw a bear and her two cubs. Enjoyed seeing the animals and our guide was knowledgeable and funny. The lunch was underwhelming though.
Aug 2018 - Nita T.
we had a great time. Our guide Taylor was great, full of energy and informative.I would recommend this tour over the train. We get to stop at many photo sites and taylor would pictures for all. we saw a baby black bear climbing the tree. My kids get to play and hold husky puppies at musher camp.
Great trip 5 stars!!
Jul 2018 - Sara Jane C.
Van driver was very informative and provided us with a great tour
Jul 2018 - Richard J.
This was an extraordinary excursion. Patrick was our driver/guide and did a great job of teaching us about the area. He went out of his way to stop so we could take photos of the area and beauty and wonder of the scenery. He turned around once so we could back and see a bear as it sauntered along the highway. The excursion lasted a little longer than advertised because he took the time to help us have a great time. The stop at Caribou Crossing was good. Lunch was not exceptional but it was tasty and filling. The taxidermy museum included some species I did not expect as well as most of the Yukon species I was expecting. We did not get to see the sled dogs because it was actually very warm the day we were there and they were being rested in the shade. The puppies were cute, but rather lethargic due to the heat. Overall this was a terrific tour!! I would do this tour again. I would highly recommend it.
Jul 2018 - LOUIS P.
great value, spectacular scenery, knowledgeable tour guide
Jul 2018 - Karen K.
This was a great way to see the Yukon. The tour guide was amazing.
Jul 2018 - Victor T.
This was very educational and fun. Brooke made this tour well worth the time and price. I wish the food at lunch had a diabetic option though. Fellow diabetics, byolunch lol
Jul 2018 - Scott P.
Best tour. We have done the train before in Skagway and you see SO much more with this tour! Plus there are picture spots along the way and getting to play with the pups! Highly recommend.
Jul 2018 - Karen B.
We had a great time with Heidi. She made our day fun & was very informative, with plenty of stops for photo opportunities. The highlight was the Black Bear on the roadside eating dandelions. We were able to be as close as possible for a considerable time.
Jul 2018 - Deborah D.
If I could give this excursion more stars, I would. Our guide, Candice, told us a lot of entertaining, historical stories on our drive to the Yukon Territory. She stopped plenty of times for us to take pictures, and even acted as our photography when necessary. At some of our stops, she gathered examples of the flora and fauna and shared information about them. Loved this excursion. Didn't love the gigantic mosquitoes, so take bug spray with you, even if someone in your party thinks it's too cold for them.
Jul 2018 - Connie P.
Our guide was knowledgeable and we saw some beautiful scenery. We saw a bear on the side of the road and some sheep on the mountain sides. Enjoyed seeing the bear. The lunch was okay. It's a long trip and part of the roads are rough. Don't think kids would enjoy the long ride.
Jul 2018 - Anne G.
Amazing service waiting for us as soon as we got off the ship.
Patrick our guide amazing person such a lovely guy and fab stories.we seen bears twice and Patrick even turned to coach round and took us back for another view.We stopped at all the lovely views to take pictures I would defo recommend this trip rather than the train journey to the Yukon and much cheaper than the ship prices.
Jun 2018 - Kerryne K.
This excursion was also terrific, TBONE the guide had a great personality and lots of knowledge and funny stories.
It was never too much trouble to take photos for us and we had lots of stops along the way to get these photos.
Please convey our thanks to TBONE as he was great. He might remember us as we were the only Aussie's on that tour.
Well done
Jun 2018 - Michael T.
This was a BEAUTIFUL drive up to the Yukon Territory. Sooo many perfect places to take pictures. Mountains, beaches, streams, lakes, wildlife, we saw it all. Food was average, but definitely not bad. Perfect tour if you're into Alaska and Canada's natural beauty.
Jun 2018 - Cynthia B.
Great tour! I would recommend less time at the lunch spot and more time at the shopping area on the return trip.
Jun 2018 - Stacey S.
A fantastic way to tour the Yukon.
Jun 2018 - Jill C.
Cannot praise this tour highly enough. Brooke was a brilliant guide and we really got to know about the wildlife and the history of the area. We were lucky enough to see 6 bears! The BBQ lunch at Caribou crossing was included with some great huskies and a Mounties museum on site too. A real must do tour.
Jun 2018 - Terence G.
An interesting and informative day out, Bev. the driver was very amusing with knowledgeable stories and anecdotes all day, as a bonus we also saw a bear by the roadside on the return journey.
Jun 2018 - Susan R.
Excellent tour, really got the feel of the wilderness. Plenty of photo stops, and very enjoyable lunch.
May 2018 - Rose R.
My children thoroughly enjoyed the Yukon tour and still talk about the bear sitings.
May 2018 - Norma B.
This excursion on 5/16/2018 was absolutely fabulous, primarily because of our guide, Patrick. He was polite, pleasant, considerate, responsible and had a great sense of humor. He patiently took the time to take numerous photos of us standing next to "Welcome to ......" signs, and made unscheduled stops along the road so that we could see a moose and a black bear, which are rarely seen. Thank you for having such a wonderful employee, Patrick!
May 2018 - Michael B.
This was probably the BEST tour we had! It was a brilliant day, lots of amazing, contrasting scenery to see as well as spotting some wildlife. The tour guide was excellent with her knowledge and witty character. She ensured everyone had a trip to remember. Would highly recommend this tour - fantastic and if you have Brooke as your guide you'll be well looked after!
May 2018 - Flordeliza F.
Having Patrick as our tour guide added the icing on the cake. He was funny, attentive and a good storyteller. He shared his personal story of how the beauty and majesty of the place captivated him and his passion, enthusiasm and love for this awesome place was contagious. We even saw a black bear, an otter and a moose and it was really a treat watching them from a distance. It was a wholesome trip from beginning to end and worth every penny. Will recommend your excursion to friends planning to go to Alaska .Thank you so much. Lisa from Texas

The Yukon Discovery Adventure was our favorite excursion of the 4 we took on our cruise. Heidi was our guide into the Yukon. Her knowledge of the area and willingness to share and educate went beyond a normal tour guide. I would highly recommend this excursion and ask for Heidi.

Jul 2017 - Keith & G.
Great - our driver Candace, was fun & knowledgeable about the area. We took 4 tours during our Alaska cruise, and this one was our favorite by far. Beautiful scenery & great atmosphere. Lunch meal was adequate, but nothing to brag about.
Jul 2017 - Olof N.
Excursion was very good and we had a great time. Our guide was very friendly and did a great job! He knew many facts and stories from the region. We were lucky to see a bear next to the highway. Food was just ok; I expected better food and variety. Dog sled ride was too expensive in my opinion. Make sure you set enough time to visit the Wildlife Museum, because it's amazing! We did spend a lot of time in the bus (which we knew from the excursion description).
Jul 2017 - James W.
Loved it.
Jul 2017 - Lisong C.
We had a good time on this tour. The tour guide was very nice, friendly, and helpful. She told us interesting stories about the places where we stopped or passed by and helped us taking family pictures. The scenery sites were beautiful.

Candace was the best tour Guide! So genuine and full of information. This trip is wonderful, car cross is great to visit, I got to hold a four week old husky puppy. The dinner was delicious, especillay the coleslaw. Great donuts too! Really enjoyed the wildlife museum. Trip to the Yukon is a must in Skagway. I really enjoyed the town as well. A very interesting and informative trip, our driver John was a mine of information and imparted this in a very pleasant manner.Although we did not encounter a lot in the way of wildlife we enjoyed lovely weather and the scenery was to be marvelled at.The information about the gold rush from John one could only wonder at ,and it left us with an enduring memory of what a great place Alaska and the Yukon once was and remains today, Thank you.

We had a blast!!! loved all the stops that we took based on what we wanted for sight seeing and pics. great info from guide all along the way. beautiful scenery! even saw a bear along side the road. carcross lunch and activites were perfect entertainment and break to break up the driving. Felt like we got alot more from this tour than would have from the train. My 19 and 15 year enjoyed it as well. So very glad we did this tour.

May 2016 - Andrew Robb R.
Great trip enhanced by our tour guide who was so friendly and knowledgeable.
May 2016 - Barbara A M.
This was a great tour. Mike was our tour guide. He accommodated our every request, including a special request for Grandpa's oxygen machine. He drove safely, but made time to stop and even back up if we spotted wildlife or wanted to see something special. He gave great narration to the tour and what we were seeing. His humor was delightfully dry. The scenery throughout is quite breathtaking and the lunch stop was very good. Being able to see and interact with sled dogs was an enjoyable part of the lunch stop.
May 2016 - Moira L.
This was an excellent excursion. Our guide (I cannot remember his name) was extremely interesting and knowledgeable about the area, the climate, the flora and fauna and made the whole day very enjoyable. The coach was comfortable and the lunch was tasty. I would certainly recommend this tour.
