Our group booked this directly through ASE to save money instead of booking via the Cruise ship. The entire staff was kind and quick to answer any questions we had. Our small group of 5 plus another family of 4, was paired up with guide Ben and got onto the water first. We basically had our own private kayak tour with Ben showing our small crew all there was to see in the protected cove. After paddling around for about an hour, everyone met back at the float house for warm cider and home-made chowder. Our group strongly recommends using Alaska Shore Excursions but give them a call if you have a group of 6 or more since they can ask the tour company if they can add more space.
