On Time Return Guarantee:

To offer our customers peace of mind, we guarantee our excursions and your on time return to your cruise ship. You are guaranteed to return for your ship's departure in each port as long as you provide the correct cruise itinerary information during the booking process. Opting for the "NOT ON A CRUISE SHIP" option or providing inaccurate cruise information forfeits our On Time Return Guarantee. We have never had a client miss their cruise ship departure.

- If you miss your ship's departure because of the late return of an excursion purchased within these parameters, we will pay for the necessary expenses to transport you to the next port of call to meet your cruise ship the following day including hotel, transportation, and food.

- If your ship is late, please call your tour operator so that your tour time can be adjusted. If an alternate tour time is not compatible with your schedule, your ticket will be fully refunded with no fees or penalties.

- If your cruise ship changes port itineraries causing you to miss an excursion, your ticket will be fully refunded with no fees or penalty.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Tours can be canceled for any reason up until seven (7) days prior to the date of the tour for a full refund unless otherwise noted on the individual tour product page in the Things to Know section. To cancel a tour, please use the cancelation request link within your e-ticket that was emailed to you OR send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

- Order number

- Tour you are canceling

- Number of passengers you wish to cancel

Within 0-7 days before the tour date, cancelations are eligible for a full refund only in the following scenarios:

- The tour is canceled by the tour operator for any reason (for example: bad weather or mechanical issue)

- You experience a medical emergency during this window and can provide documentation (documentation must be submitted within 30 days to receive a refund)

- Your ship changes port itineraries causing you to miss an excursion

All refunds are processed through Alaska Shore Excursions, and will not be processed through any cruise line or local tour provider. Refunds will appear under Alaska Shore Excursions on your bank/credit card statement. Credit card refunds are processed within 10 business days of the request. Exceptions to the refund policy include multi-day packages and some day tours. Please refer to the specific refund policy listed on the individual tour product page.

Departure Location:

All tours will depart from the cruise ship pier or a central meeting location within short walking distance or shuttle ride from your cruise ship. The specific meeting location will be described and mapped out on your ticket, which you will receive once your order is finalized and approved.


Payment will be collected in-full at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards including: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Cards. Charges will be processed through Alaska Shore Excursions.

Special Requirements:

We work directly with our tour operators and will make every effort possible to accommodate any special needs and disabilities. Please contact us with any special requests.

Travel Documents and Tickets:

Once you have completed your online booking, your credit card will be authorized and our Shore Excursion Specialists will review your order. Once received, please print your tickets and bring them with you on your cruise, as you will need to hand this over to your tour guide at the pier. The tickets include important and specific information about your tour such as the meeting location, emergency contact information, maps and directions. Please read your tickets carefully. If you do not have a printer, please make sure to bring a saved copy with your mobile device. This website and it's affiliates are not related to the cruise lines. The tours sold through this website are independent tours and are not products of any cruise line. Your reservation may take up to 24-72 hours to process. Once this process is complete, you will receive your tickets via the email address you provide.

Responsibilities and Liabilities:

Alaska Shore Excursions is a brokerage company for shore excursions in Alaska and sells tours on behalf of other independent tour companies. Alaska Shore Excursions is not liable for any liability arising out of those tours. Any claims related to those tours must be dealt with through the tour company providing the tour. All tours sold through this website are solely at your own risk and may be subject to agreements made between you and the tour company providing the tour. Alaska Shore Excursions assumes no responsibility (including damage to personal or other property, injury or death) for claims related to these tours.

Privacy Policy:

Information Collected: When you purchase activities through Alaska Shore Excursions, you provide certain information voluntarily including but not limited to customer name, email address, phone number, billing information, and the details of products purchased.

Information Use and Sharing: We may use this information to contact you should communication be required. Third party vendors utilized to conduct the necessary functions of our website may have access to your information only as needed.

Cookies: This website uses cookies to help enhance the customer experience in recognizing your browser as a previous visitor and save your settings and preferences.

International Transfer of Information: Our offices and servers are located in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please note Privacy laws in the United States may not provide protections equivalent to those of your country of residence.

Children: Our website services are not direct at or intended to be used by children. Due to the nature of our business, names and weights for aviation passengers may be required for ticket reservations and should only be provided by legal guardians.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose personal information for the purposes of legal compliance should it be legally required.
