Get away from the crowds and take a private transit van tour through the streets of Ketchikan! This tour is fully customizable, and your private party of up to 14 will choose your own stops. Typically you'll have four main stops during the four hour duration*, but it is entirely up to you!
Your driver/guide will pick you up right from your cruise dock, a hotel, the airport, or another location at your request. You'll travel in an 11- or 14-seater transit van, following a custom route of your choosing.
One popular stop is downtown Ketchikan and historic Creek Street. Creek Street is characterized by its colorful buildings (and colorful history as a former Red Light District)! Now the street, which is actually a boardwalk mounted on stilts, is lined with locally owned shops, restaurants, and art galleries to discover.
If you choose, your tour includes admission to Saxman Native Village for a photo opportunity. The village's Totem Park houses 25 authentic Tlingit totems. Each totem's symbols tell a unique story, and this stop provides an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand about Alaska's first peoples' culture and history.
If you're interested in seeing Alaska's natural wonder, we can also take a trip along George Inlet to beautiful Beaver Falls. You'll want to have your camera ready for this scenic drive. We'll make stops for shopping and dining upon request. Be sure to ask your guide for a local recommendation!

There are bathrooms available at various stops. Downtown Ketchikan also has several public facilities.
What should I wear?
Layers are always key in Southeast Alaska during the summer. Ketchikan is one of the rainiest cities in the country, so please don't forget your waterproof outerwear. Comfrotable walking shoes are always a good idea.
