Excursion Overview

Soar Above Alaska...Zipline Adventure Over Waterfalls & Wilderness!

Start your adventure in Skagway with a historic tour through downtown, then head out along 9 miles of breathtaking coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, hop into a custom Unimog, an all-wheel-drive vehicle designed to tackle the rugged mountain road. As you climb, take in the stunning rainforest and glacial waterfalls before gearing up for your thrilling zipline experience.

At the top, you'll receive safety instructions from your guide, then head to the Grizzly Falls zipline launch zone. There, you'll soar over glacially-fed waterfalls on a course of 10 ziplines, feeling the mist as you fly by. For those who prefer a slower pace, a brake system lets you control your speed—but we dare you to let go and reach up to 45 mph!

To capture the perfect photos of Alaska's wild beauty, we’ve added four state-of-the-art suspension bridges along the course. After finishing your zipline adventure, enjoy the scenic ride back to Skagway in the Unimog, reminiscing about your unforgettable experience and the breathtaking views. This excursion is sure to be one you'll remember for years!

So much fun!!! My grandson (14 yrs) and I (Grandmother 71) did this excursion from Skagway. They met us near the cruise port (easy to find) and drove to the ziplining site. They explained everything in detail and made it fun. All we had to do was sit, ride, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I love that they did ALL the breaking for us. From any age, this is a fun experience!

It rained the entire time - but we didn't let that stop us. We had a great group - we laughed the entire time - had a blast. Our guides were very knowledgeable and took us safely thru the park.

This was a great zipline adventure for beginners! I loved the idea of zip lining through stunning scenery but we had kids that were nervous and grandparents who didn't like heights. This course only had 2 long ziplines, the others were short enough where no one got nervous and only one that started high up... so it was great for our family. Sarah was our guide and she was so knowledgable and funny, we were tasked with certain stunts for each zip which the kids loved! I will say if you are an adrenaline junkie that want something extreme, then go for something else but this was exactly what we were looking for and my son who is afraid of heights used it as a starting block and now wants to move on to a higher zipline course.

Oh my! What an adventure!! Not being experienced zip liners, our guides Sophie and Russell did an amazing job of making us feel safe and taken care of. We had THE BEST time exploring the beautiful Alaska rain forest and zip lining through it. 10/10, highly recommend this tour for everyone--whether or not you've zip lined before or not. The drive up to the rain forest was also beautiful and James, our driver, did an amazing job giving us info/fun history. Our children (8, 10) enjoyed this thrilling day and we all made memories that will last a lifetime.
