Excursion Overview

Soar Above Alaska...Zipline Adventure Over Waterfalls & Wilderness!

Start your adventure in Skagway with a historic tour through downtown, then head out along 9 miles of breathtaking coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, hop into a custom Unimog, an all-wheel-drive vehicle designed to tackle the rugged mountain road. As you climb, take in the stunning rainforest and glacial waterfalls before gearing up for your thrilling Grizzly Falls Ziplining Expedition.

At the top, you'll receive safety instructions from your guide, then head to the Grizzly Falls zipline launch zone. There, you'll soar over glacially-fed waterfalls on a course of 10 ziplines (one measuring 750 feet long), feeling the mist as you fly by. For those who prefer a slower pace, a brake system lets you control your speed—but we dare you to let go and reach up to 45 mph!

To capture the perfect photos of Alaska's wild beauty, we’ve added four state-of-the-art suspension bridges along the course. After finishing your zipline adventure, enjoy the scenic ride back to Skagway in the Unimog, reminiscing about your unforgettable experience and the breathtaking views. This excursion is sure to be one you'll remember for years!

Most departures are scheduled to align with cruise ship arrival times, with options typically available in the mid-morning and early afternoon.

This tour is typically available from April through September. Our excursions were designed for cruise ship passengers but are available to everyone.

Lines were fun and guides were awesome. They made sure to keep each run exciting by teaching us new tricks every time. Highly recommend. Also, the shuttle and unimog ride up the mountain was an unexpected added bonus/adventure.
