We absolutely loved our tour guide Will and this bus transfer experience. It was so much more than a bus transfer - it felt like a full excursion. Will knew so much about Alaska and beyondâwe re convinced he could answer any question we could possibly ask! He was on time, got to the wildlife center early so we got to spend more time looking around, and got to our ship right on time. Would 10/10 recommend!

This transfer was fantastic! There are 2 stops where the bus picks up travelers; when we were not at the first stop, they called and texted me and asked when I would be arriving (I wonder if in the sign-up I indicated we would be at the first stop) - we were waiting at the second stop, but I was so glad they called AND texted! When we were picked up, we had Amelia as a driver and that girl is EXCITED about Alaska and wildlife and birds. She talked to us the whole way from Anchorage to Whittier - history of the airport, the area, the mountains, the wildlife, the single lane car/train tunnel we drove through - her breadth of knowledge is impressive and her excitement is infectious. I bought this transfer because of the wildlife adventure, which was super cool (we stopped for about an hour to walk around, get a snack, use the bathroom, and/or shop the gift shop), but it was worth the extra cost just to have such incredible narration on our journey. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

Embarking on the bus was easy. The scenery on the way to Whittier was amazing. The stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center could be a little longer. I walk fast and it was tough to see everything. The bus driver was entertaining and very informative. We were dropped directly at the ship.
