  • 4 oz. smoked Alaska Sockeye Salmon, crackers, Alaska canned and carbonated water - guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 passengers is required to operate this tour (if the minimum is not met, our team will contact you to offer an alternative tour or a full refund)
  • Per Coast Guard regulations, a maximum of 6 guests are allowed on this excursion
  • Guests are required to wear low profile inflatable life vests
  • All guests must have a photo ID for the tour
  • Signed Liability Waiver
  • Dress in warm and waterproof layers as the weather can change rapidly
  • Please advise, the gangways to the dock can become pretty steep at low tide and there are two large steps to get down into the boat approximately 10".

Duration: 3 hours (Roundtrip from Skagway's Small Boat Harbor.)

  • 5 minutes - Meet your captain at Boat Slip A9 - south end of the Small Boat Harbor
  • 30 minutes - Klondike Gold Rush history, Dyea and Naku Bay
  • 1 hour - Lynn Canal (west side), waterfalls and wildlife viewing
  • 30 minutes- Indian Rock, Taiyasanka Harbor, and wildlife viewing
  • 1 hour - Lynn Canal (east side), waterfall wildlife viewing, and return to harbor

Meeting Instructions:

  • This tour meets at the Skagway Small Boat Harbor which is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from all cruise ships. Fully detailed instructions are included on your finalized ticket vouchers.

There are no minimum age requirements. The local tour provider will advise if the waters are too rough or if a child is too small based on daily conditions.

Backpacks, small bags, and purses are allowed on this tour.

Wildlife is abundant in Southeast Alaska and sightings are possible on any tour, however nothing can be guaranteed.

There is a maximum capacity of 5 guests. 5 can be seated comfortably. If your group doesn't mind being close and personal, a sixth person may join free of charge.

Skagway is known to be a windy place and the local tour provider will ensure your ride is comfortable and enjoyable. Full refunds are granted should the weather prevent your excursion from setting sail. The tour provider will make the final determination on the day of the excursion.

Layered and waterproof clothing is always recommended for Alaskan weather. We recommend you wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate attire.

4 oz. smoked Alaska Sockeye Salmon, crackers, Alaska canned and carbonated water are provided.

Yes, guests are permitted to bring their own snacks and beverages aboard.

Guests are encouraged to use the harbor facilities before departing however, a small electric flush toilet is available. There is a curtain plus a door and there is a freshwater wand/sink to wash your hands.

Excellent excursion! Very private with a great captain, Luke! We saw so many eagles, seals, and a few otters! As well as waterfalls from very close up.
