The guide was wonderful! My only disappointment was that we were not allowed to get anywhere near the glacier when we saw others closer to it.

What a beautiful day! We had the best time kayaking Mendenhall Lake. Our guide, Makaylee was excellent. She had a great pace, kept the group together, and told fun stories. Our shuttle driver Allison was also great. She got us to and from the lake safely while keeping us informed and entertained. Would 10/10 do it again!

Beautiful area. Only wish the guides would have provided some knowledge about the area including the glacier, lake creation, native people. The kayak experience consisted of getting in the kayak, getting a little closer than the people using the free trail from the visitor center and returning to the drop in point. The area is beautiful but for the price would have liked more.
