Seward Bridal Veil Falls Kayak & Exit Glacier Hike Combo

Excursion Overview

Enjoy a full day tour at Bridal Veil Falls and the Exit Glacier

Gear up at the tour provider's office before boarding shuttle vans to Lowell Point Beach. As you hop in your kayaks and paddle south along the Resurrection Bay coastline, you can spot various marine life, including eagles, jumping salmon, seabirds, porpoises, harbor seals, and sea lions.

Upon reaching Bridal Veil Falls Beach, a short walk through the rainforest on an unmaintained trail leads to the base of the multi-tiered waterfall. The water cascades beautifully over the rocks, spreading like a bridal train, which inspired the name. After the hike, a sandwich lunch, hot drinks, and snacks will be provided before paddling back to Lowell Point Beach for the return trip to the tour provider's office, where preparations will be made for the Exit Glacier hike.

Once at the tour provider's office, guests will be driven to Kenai Fjords National Park and provided with trekking poles. The easy 2.2-mile hike takes 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on individual pace. Guides offer interpretive information along the trail and share photos of the glacier's historical positions. This hike follows the Lower Glacier overlook trail and includes a visit to the Exit Glacier Nature Center, where park cards can be stamped. After the hike, transportation back to lodging is provided.
