Requirements:

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • This tour includes approximately 6 miles of walking throughout the day, including short hikes to viewpoints, waterfalls, and along trails. Guests should be comfortable walking at a moderate pace. Sturdy, comfortable shoes are recommended. Those with mobility limitations or health concerns should consult their doctor before booking. Frequent photo and rest stops are included. This tour is not recommended for anyone with mobility, back or medical issues.
  • Dress in comfortable layers and wear sturdy walking shoes. Be sure to bring water, snacks, and your camera to capture the views. Food will also be available for purchase along the way. Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended, especially on sunny days.

Duration: Approximately 12-13 hours (hotel pickup is available from select Seattle Hotels)

You’ll receive a general outline of the itinerary when you’re picked up, but the exact schedule may vary to ensure the best possible experience. Season, tide schedules and weather determine timing and stops.
  • Hurricane Ridge: Views of the Olympic Mountains, food, a gift shop, wildlife, seasonal snowshoeing
  • Crescent Lake: A stunning glacier-carved lake with water so clear you can see all the way to the bottom. The surrounding trails are lined with tall, moss-covered trees, adding to the forest’s peaceful, serene atmosphere.
  • Salt Creek Recreation Area: Home to striking sea stack rock formations, a sandy beach, and tide pools to explore (tide dependent).
  • Elwha River: Optional stop depending on the day, featuring waterfalls, towering trees, and the site of the world’s largest dam removal and wildlife restoration project.
  • Sol Duc Valley: Optional stop depending on the day, featuring Sol Duc Falls, Salmon Cascades, and lush old-growth forest.
  • Seattle Ferry Terminal: Round-trip ferry ride across Puget Sound to reach the Peninsula and access the national park. Enjoy scenic views of the islands and the Seattle skyline along the way.
  • Tours run from the last pickup to the first drop-off of the day. Listed end times are approximate and actual drop-off will vary by hotel location, traffic, and number of stops.

The local team is happy to store luggage. There is a $10 fee per piece, payable to your driver at pick up. Please arrange in advance so your request can be accommodated.
