Enjoy an hour and ten-minute stunning flightseeing tour via floatplane from Anchorage to Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. Your expert pilot will land at Redoubt Mountain Lodge located on the incredible blue Crescent Lake where you will spend your day. Upon arrival, you'll meet your bear viewing guide who will escort you by covered pontoon boat to lakeside areas where bears feed on spawning wild Alaska salmon.

Situated at the headwaters of Bristol Bay, Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is the epitome of the Alaska wilderness landscape. At four million acres, the Park encompasses volcanoes, jagged mountains, glaciers, wild rivers, waterfalls, and diverse Alaska wildlife populations. You'll never forget your visit to one of America's most beautiful national parks!

• Due to the nature of this tour, the cancellation policy is as follows:
  90+ days or more - 100% refund
  15 - 89 days - 50% refund

Tours can be canceled for any reason up until seven (7) days prior to the date of the tour for a full refund unless otherwise noted on the individual tour product page in the Things to Know section. To cancel a tour, please use the cancelation request link within your e-ticket that was emailed to you OR send an email to info@alaskashoreexcursions.com with the following information:

- Order number

- Tour you are canceling

- Number of passengers you wish to cancel

Within 0-7 days before the tour date, cancelations are eligible for a full refund only in the following scenarios:

- The tour is canceled by the tour operator for any reason (for example: bad weather or mechanical issue)

- You experience a medical emergency during this window and can provide documentation (documentation must be submitted within 30 days to receive a refund)

- Your ship changes port itineraries causing you to miss an excursion

All refunds are processed through Alaska Shore Excursions, and will not be processed through any cruise line or local tour provider. Refunds will appear under Alaska Shore Excursions on your bank/credit card statement. Credit card refunds are processed within 10 business days of the request. Exceptions to the refund policy include multi-day packages and some day tours. Please refer to the specific refund policy listed on the individual tour product page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a shuttle service?

There is a shuttle service provided to guests from downtown Anchorage, the airport, and airport area hotels available to schedule. The shuttle picks you up 45 minutes before your scheduled departure. The shuttle is offered in the summer season only! Details are included in your finalized ticket voucher.

What if I get motion sick easily?

If you get motion sick on planes, you might want to take precautions before your flight such as medications. Sick bags are available on the plane.

May I have a window seat?

Every passenger gets a window seat, and a two-way headset so you can communicate with the pilot for the entire flight.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

If your flight is postponed due to weather or other unseen events out of our control we are happy to work with your schedule to rebook your tour. Of course, we also provide a full refund if you cannot rebook your tour.

What should I wear?

Closed-toed shoes are required on the plane. We suggest bringing light layers, a jacket, and sunglasses!

Is there a place to store bags?

You are welcome to keep baggage or personal items at the office in Anchorage.

The flight was amazing, we did see bears but it was disappointing when we got to the lake. With 3 spotting spots it seemed a little odd. We did see 6 bears and had one get within 20 ft of us! That was exciting and scary but so absolutely beautiful. The people were amazing! It is quiet and not busy there and landing on the beach was an amazing thing to do.
