Anchorage Heli Packrafting

Excursion Overview

Heli Packrafting Adventure for the Ages

Leave the crowds behind and enjoy beautiful Alaska through a heli pack rafting adventure! Hop on a helicopter and enjoy the scenic flight over the Knik Glacier on your way to the tour starting point. Guests and a guide will be dropped off at a remote gravel bar near the glaciers and rivers.

At the base of the mountains, your experienced guide will assist you in putting on your drysuit, personal flotation device, and all necessary gear to complete the Class 1 float adventure. Each guest will have their own packrat which is a portable lightweight inflatable boat. After a water safety briefing and paddle instructions, start your float down the calm, slow moving water and lake with the majestic views and glaciers from a distance.

Pull over to the river bank for snacks/lunch and don't forget to capture photo memories with the mountainous views as the backdrop. Guests are picked up by a helicopter miles downstream from the start at the end of the day.
