Excursion Overview

Sitka Wildlife Tour and Island Feast

Head out into Sitka Sound for a day of wildlife, scenery, and an island meal. With more than 50 years of local experience, your crew knows these waters well and keeps track of recent sightings and changing conditions. Keep watch from the comfortable main cabin or step outside onto the observation deck as you look for whales, sea otters, coastal brown bears, bald eagles, and other wildlife along the way. With a 99.9% wildlife viewing success rate, there’s a good chance you’ll have plenty to see.

The adventure continues at Fin Island Lodge, a private island just a short boat ride from Sitka. Sit down to a hearty Alaska style meal featuring Alaskan crab, fresh caught fish, prime rib, and more. Afterward, take a walk along the beach, explore the lodge grounds, or settle in by the beach fire with a s’more and enjoy the views across Sitka Sound.

Wildlife, a boat ride through Sitka Sound, and a meal on a private island make this a great way to spend a day in Southeast Alaska.
