Sitka Small Group Wildlife & Scenic Boat Tour

Excursion Overview

An unforgettable wildlife adventure through Sitka Sound

Explore the stunning waters of Sitka Sound, nestled within the Tongass National Rain Forest on the west side of Baranof Island, with a personalized small-group whale and wildlife tour. On this excursion, you'll have the opportunity to encounter a variety of marine life, including sea lions, sea otters, humpback whales, seals, and an array of seabirds, including majestic bald eagles. From late July to October, there's a good chance to observe Alaska's iconic brown bears as they forage for salmon along the shore.

Your tour will take place aboard a 26’ Hewes Craft Ocean Pro 24, a comfortable boat equipped with a heated cabin and seating for up to 6 guests. For your convenience, the boat includes a portable toilet, though privacy is limited, so it’s advised to use the restroom before departure.

With over 35 years of experience on the water, your captain/guide is ready to host you and share the beauty of Southeast Alaska.
