Note: for a round trip, add the
Anchorage to Seward bus or the
Anchorage to Seward train.
Following your pick up we'll head out of the Seward area and tour north, where we'll see the spectacular scenery of Moose Pass and Turnagain Pass. This area is well regarded for its dramatic alpine scenery and hanging glaciers.
After descending down to the shores of Cook Inlet, we'll visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, opened to the public in 1993. It is located on 140 acres at the southern edge of Turnagain Arm and the entrance to Portage Valley.
The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center provides wildlife education and awareness, and care and rehabilitation for Alaska's wildlife. Get close, safely observe and photograph some of Alaska's largest land animals, including moose, bison, elk, deer, caribou, bears, and musk ox. Our guests also enjoy seeing small mammals like lynx, and stunning birds of prey, such as bald and golden eagles.
We'll visit the quaint town of Girdwood for a complimentary lunch. After lunch, get ready for the aerial tram ride up the longest double black diamond ski slope in North America.
From the top, you can view several glaciers and the farthest northern reaches of a temperate rainforest that stretches from here all the way south to Northern California. On select days our guests visit the Roundhouse Museum. This mountainside museum features a panoramic viewing deck for incredible views.

One of the best tours we ever took. Josh did a great job sharing information about our stops and helping us feel like the day was ours to guide even though it was pre-planned. Great trip! Great value! Great guide!!!
May 2022 - Douglas M.
Josh met us on time and from the get go, he was showing off the beauty of Alaska. Very knowledgeable and injected information about history that made the tour even better.

It was a good way to end our Alaska vacation. Tiffany was terrific. The tour would have been even better, if it weren't for the fires. We didn't get to visit the glacier and our visibility was limited when we rode the tram at Alyeska. I am so glad we did this, rather than tour Anchorage.

This day was full of great sights to see including salmon swimming upstream, the views from the Aleyeska Tram ride were amazing and the lunch stop was delicious. The stop at the Wildlife Preserve was another treat - to see all the animals in their natural setting. A great way to see all the sights from Seward to Anchorage.

Great way to end our Alaska Cruise vacation! Heather did an outstanding job of sharing her knowledge of the area and history during our tour.

Tiffany was so personable. We were the only ones on the van and she was a sweetheart. We couldn't ask for anything better. Extremely knowledgeable. When we were at the wildlife refuge center, she would be talking to us but all the other tourists would gather around because she was so informed on all of the animals, their names, how old they were, how long they had been there. It was one of our best tours ever!!!!!!!!
