Ketchikan Historic Trolley Tour

Excursion Overview

Explore Ketchikan on a historic trolley

Discover the best of Ketchikan with the historic trolley tour. This is the perfect adventure for a quick glimpse of the town's history, culture, and wildlife sightings. Hop aboard a replica 1800s cable car trolley as your knowledgeable guide takes you on a scenic journey through this charming city.

The tour kicks off with a brief drive past an eagle’s nest on the way to Saxman Native Village, home to the largest collection of Tlingit and Haida totem poles. Explore the village while your guide shares the stories and significance behind these incredible works of art.

Next, head to Herring Cove where there’s a chance to spot local wildlife. While sightings are never guaranteed, this spot offers one of the best opportunities to do so. Afterward, we’ll make our way to Rainbow Falls, where you’ll have time to snap photos of this stunning natural wonder.

Finally, enjoy a relaxing coastal drive back to town, with a drop-off at the historic Creek Street district or at the starting point of your tour. Whether you’re a history buff, wildlife lover, or simply enjoy a beautiful drive, this tour offers a perfect mix of everything Ketchikan has to offer.
