Ketchikan Best of Alaska Fishing Tour

Excursion Overview

A Southeast Alaskan fishing adventure not to be missed!

Experience the thrill of Alaskan halibut fishing as you drop your line into the deep waters, reaching depths of 200-400 feet or more. Armed with heavy tackle, large hooks, and fresh bait, you’ll feel the anticipation rise as the scent of your bait spreads with the current. Down in the twilight zone of the ocean, rockfish, cod, flounder, sharks, skates, and the mighty halibut may detect the scent and begin to make their way toward you.

Your expert guide will position you for success, providing tips on how to hook your catch, but when the moment comes, it will be your hands gripping the rod. If the line goes taut and the rod bends, you’ll feel the raw power of the deep pulling back—an unforgettable challenge as you battle to bring your fish to the surface. Your guide will offer encouragement and guidance throughout the fight, but the determination to land that fish is all yours.

If you're fortunate enough to see one of these majestic creatures break the surface, it will be a moment to remember, a true highlight of any Alaskan adventure. Regardless of the conditions or the catch, this tour offers an unparalleled opportunity to encounter the incredible and diverse species that thrive on the deep ocean floor.
