Arrive early in Anchorage to explore Alaska's largest city and to get a good night's sleep before tomorrow's rail journey. Overnight in Anchorage. Day 2:
Ride the Glacier Discovery Train to Spencer Glacier Whistle Stop. Float among the icebergs at Spencer Glacier and down the Placer River. A short train ride to Portage follows the float tour. A motor-coach transfer from Portage to Girdwood gets you back in time for dinner. Overnight at the Hotel Alyeska. Day 3:
Depart early on the Coastal Classic Train to experience the breathtaking ride along the Turnagain Arm and through scenic Grandview. Upon arrival in Seward, cruise Kenai Fjords National Park. See glaciers, sea lions, and perhaps even a gray or humpback whale. Be informed and entertained by the onboard Park Ranger. Overnight in Seward. Day 4:
Start the day at the Alaska SeaLife Center examining Alaska's marine life up close. Then, spend the afternoon on the Real Alaska Tour. This includes Exit Glacier, lunch at an Alaska roadhouse, and a dog sled ride. Evening departure to Anchorage on the Coastal Classic Train. Overnight in Anchorage. Day 5:
Travel north to Denali National Park via the Denali Star Train. Enjoy rip-roaring entertainment at the Alaska Cabin Nite Dinner Theater. Overnight in Denali. Day 6:
Travel into Denali National Park on a 13.5 hour narrated bus tour. Wildlife sightings are common, so it's always good to keep your camera handy. Enjoy a buffet lunch in the heart of the park. Overnight in Denali. Day 7:

Baggage service is available. Each ticketed passenger may check two pieces of luggage. The luggage weight limit is 50 pounds per bag. The baggage fee for bikes, excess, oversized, and overweight bags is .00 per item. One carry-on item is allowed per person. Carry-on bags may not exceed 15" x 14" x 6". Please remember to carry on medications, cameras or other items that you will need during your train ride.
Tour packages that are canceled 36 or more days before travel will be refunded 90% of the booking value. No refunds will be issued 35 or less days before travel.
What hotels do guests stay in during this packaged tour?
Adventure Class stays include: Comfort Inn Ship Creek, Hotel Alyeska, Seward Windsong Lodge, and Denali Bluffs Hotel.
Goldstar Class stays include: Sheraton Anchorage Hotel, Hotel Alyeska, Seward Windsong Lodge, and Grande Denali Hotel.
These accomodations are subject to availability, and could be swapped for alternate hotels.
Are there any physical requirements for this tour?
Guests must be able to get in and out of buses, boats, and/or airplanes. This tour is limited mobility accessible.
