The preserve encompasses 48,000 acres of some of Alaska's most spectacular scenery; dedicated to preserving the habitat of the largest concentration of bald eagles in the world. The river is plentiful with salmon which makes it a prime lunch spot for eagles and other Alaskan wildlife. Gently float along in your 18' inflatable raft and soak in the beautiful wilderness. Float past the Native village of Klukwan where the Tlingit people have lived for centuries.

SJ was our tour guide, and a great tour guide / raft captain at that. Lots of beautiful scenery and some good laughs. The bus guide was so passionate and fun but a little too loud. Overall, it was a great experience!
