Excursion Overview

Vancouver by Bike: Explore Iconic Neighborhoods & Hidden Stories

Cycle your way through one of North America's top cycling cities through the charming neighborhoods of historic Gastown, Chinatown, and Granville Island. Hear stories of local heroes who have shaped the city as you weave your way through an urban bike adventure.

Gear up and start your adventure from English Bay where you'll set out along the seawall to Yaletown's chandelier. Delight in stories that range from heroes of the railway to social activists, punk legacies, and more.

Ride the south side of False Creek past Science World and through the Olympic Athlete’s Village. Finish on Granville Island, with a stroll down the aisles of the Public Market where you can grab a quick donut at Seth Rogen’s favorite circular pastry shop, before heading back to English Bay Bikes.
