Seward Snowshoeing Adventure

Excursion Overview

Discover the Hidden Wilderness Surrounding Seward

This snowshoeing adventure is an amazing chance to experience the magic of winter in Alaska. You can choose your desired exertion level to perfectly tailor the tour to your liking. All ages are welcomed, so this is ideal for families who like to get outside in nature

You, your small group of 12 or less, and your expert guide will embark on a 3-4 hour snowshoe trek. Traditional snowshoes have been utilized by Alaska Natives for centuries to traverse this rugged landscape. With your guide's instruction, you will soon see just how useful and innovative they are for walking long distances over snow.

Seward is very remote and surrounded by beautiful alpine wilderness. Each tour is different based on the day's conditions and your group's wishes. You'll have the opportunity to see rolling mountains, mountain basins, snow-capped evergreens, vast glaciers, Alaskan wildlife, and so much more.

At checkout you can select your desired exertion level:

Easy: Slower-paced, strolling option with flat trails/minimal elevation gain.

Moderate: Trail hiking option with rolling terrain, more elevation change, and a faster pace.

Strenuous: Trail hiking option with rough, uneven, slippery terrain and steep inclines. Best for guests who are active and exercise regularly.
