You'll travel through two of Alaska's geographical regions on this trip, starting in the Interior and making your way towards South Central.
Weather permitting, you will have an opportunity to admire the tallest mountain of Northern America, the Denali Peak, which is also the train's namesake. As you pass over 918-foot Hurricane Gulch Bridge, keep your eyes open for wildlife! The train will follow the snaking Indian River, giving guests views of remote cabins as well. We have rode the Denali Star Train on many occasions and have never had one complaint. This train ride in Gold Star Class is an amazing journey through Alaska and we definitely highly recommend it. Everyone from the first phone call and email to book the train to the last step getting off the rain were very friendly, courteous and professional. Kudos to all staff who helped make our many trips aboard the train comfortable and fantastic.
