How Early Should I Book my Shore Excursions?

We get asked all of the time by guests how early they should book their shore excursions. The simplest answer? As soon as you know you're going on a cruise! Every year we see guests wanting to book their shore excursions with us earlier and earlier. Oftentimes we're getting inquiries for the following year before the current season is even over!

On our end we're very aware of the fact that for some of our most popular tours, like helicopter excursions, the demand for these tours always outweighs the supply! A helicopter seats a maximum of 6 guests which means that there is very limited availability for this type of tour. We easily start having sold out dates for helicopter tours months before the season even begins in May.

What we recommend is starting your search for the perfect shore excursion for your party as soon as possible. The benefit of booking your excursions earlier means that you're guaranteed those seats and don't have to worry about trying to find space for your party last minute!
